How bike loan EMI is calculated
- Formula: the same reducing-balance formula used for car loans — EMI = P × [r(1+r)^n] ÷ [(1+r)^n − 1].
- Typical terms: 12–48 months; lenders rarely go beyond 5 years on smaller bikes.
- Processing fee: many lenders add 1–3% as a one-time fee; include it in "fees" to see the full cost.
- Down payment: even 15–20% down lowers both EMI and total interest noticeably.
Estimate only: Estimates only — actual EMI varies by lender, model and your credit score.
